Oh and one more thing… I want you to be damn grateful for the opportunity.”

If you hate what you do but have no other option or business idea, you can also stop reading right now – this doesn’t apply to you either.

If you are uninspired in your job and have an inkling that there could perhaps be a better way to do this ‘career and life’ thing – read on, this is the kick from behind you might have known was coming.

From this point forward you are either choosing to be governed by fear in the short-term which is what got you into this mess in the first place – or you are choosing to be governed by the space inside of you that knows you deserve to be your own person.

Your career opportunities and internal fulfillment through what you do aren’t going to change until YOU DO.

All it takes to start in a new direction is to make a new decision. A decision that your time on this earth is worth far more than the stability of the income that crappy job is giving you.

Hate your boss? Why on earth are you continuing to work so hard to make them money?

Do you find your work boring? Best of luck doing THAT for the next 30 years…

I can’t tell you its going to be easy – and you know what I can’t even tell you with confidence it’s all going to work out in the end. What I can tell you is: it’s a far more enthralling existence than that thing you called a ‘job’ before.

If you don’t take some sort of action on a more riveting way of paying yourself now after reading this very article then you never will.

So you either quit that job, or you quit on that better idea you’ve got.

There will never be a perfect time to start and even if there is then it’s probably already gone.

That feeling of fear that’s arising as you read these words is completely normal, and its your mind’s way of saying “Dude, don’t change! We have worked hard for 20, 30, 40, 50 years to keep ourselves safe and comfortable”.
